Ralph Volcere ordered to appear in court

Last Night Friday 9th December, two CID police officers came to my house at around 6.30pm. They served me with court papers to appear before the Supreme Court on Monday 12th December at 9am.
The complaint against me was made on the same day by a judge of the Court of Appeal in regards to the front page article in this week's Weekly issue. The speed at which the papers were drafted and filed and a court date identified and delivered at my house was simply out of the ordinary. If all court cases are address in this manner, there would be no criminal in Seychelles. This is a clear move to stop me from publishing articles about the shenanigan of the CA.
On Monday they will issue me with a gagging order. I am appealing to everyone fighting for democracy, freedom and justice for Seychelles to come down to the court on Monday just before 9 am to show support for the cause.
See you there... we have lost a battle but not the war.

Please let all those in Seychelles turn up at the court house and show our support for democracy, It’s time to take a stand and show these people that we are no longer going to put up with this arrogant and total lack of disrespecting behavior... from the government and their cronies. Let’s unite for democracy and make our way to the court house. I call on all those who believe in freedom of speech to attend, make a stand let them know ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
